I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the steak and calamari were amazing! The wife and I are considering staying a night when we come back for vacation to show her Boston and the work I did with the gas disaster.
Merrill's Tavern is a pub inside the Atkinson Country Club. Open to the public and overlooking the golf course. Very good food and beer selections, full bar and great service! Definitely worth a visit.
We ate in the bar area. Highly recommended. Steak tips with salad we're awesome. I would avoid the grilled chicken sandwich (has coleslaw which makes it very messy and soaks the bun.
Great place to have a tasty meal. On a lovely day you can sit on the patio that overlooks the golf course. They don't use latex gloves in their kitchen, which is vital if you have a serious allergy to them.
We just enjoyed a fantastic dinner at the Stagecoach Grill. Started with the brussel sprouts appetizer, yum! Not your mother's brussel sprouts, that's for sure! Next had the wedge salad. So good, and big enough for two to share. Main course was the prime rib. One of the best I've ever had! Just enough fat for flavor, but hardly any waste at all, and the taste was so delicious! To top everything off, the service was top notch! Can't wait to go back again!
Atmosphere is great! We like to golf here and grab a bite after, but have also brought the kids since we live close by. We are never treated like the kids are an inconvenience which you get at a lot of other country clubs. Our experience here has always been a good one. Food, service and staff are wonderful. We had Madison tonight and she was AWESOME! Great personality and the service was on point.
Had a wonderful Valentine’s Day dinner here. Everything was awesome! Chicken wings, shrimp Alfredo and chicken pot pie was all sooo good. Dinner rolls were to die for. However, the highlight of the evening was our awesome waiter Aaron! So polite, funny and attentive, even recommended a dessert (Mississippi mud pie) which did not disappoint!
First time at Stagecoach Grill and LOVED IT!! Food is spectacular!! Great service. Good menu with lots of selections. Great vibe and fun bar too. Not too crowded on a Friday night. They were able to seat us downstairs right away. Very pleasant and friendly staff! Cant wait to go back!!
